Advanced Prototype of an Electrical Control Unit for an MR Damper Powered by Energy Harvested from Vibrations

چکیده

The work deals with a newly developed prototype of an electrical control unit (ECU) for magnetorheological (MR) damper powered by energy harvested from vibrations. ECU, consisting rectifying bridge, driver unit, microcontroller, and internal power supply system, is advanced version the specially designed processing system vibrations use this to MR damper. Unlike typical in which circuits are external source, ECU part extracted vibrating using electromagnetic harvester. However, excess amount recovered over that necessary can be collected storage. study presents design concept computer simulations in-built (DU), method connecting harvester, displacement sensors, also describes experimental tests engineered applied vibration reduction (VRS) recovery function.
